about
what's the focus or premise?
to promote and encourage poly OT8 Stray Kids fan content!
we're mostly focused on fanfic, but we're definitely trying to support fanart, edits, and other content as well
although our main goal is more poly OT8 content as a group, we do welcome works centered around individual members or smaller ships in relation to the larger polycule
(ex. chan-centric OT8 or binsung-centric OT8)
reminder: not every member has to be in a romantic / sexual relationship with every other member for all of them to be in a polycule! also, queerplatonic relationships are extremely welcome.
what events do you have lined up?
right now, we're on rest!
some ideas we've considered are a potential fic exchange, little bang, picture prompt challenge, and a "celebrations" themed challenge
we're also open to other suggestions!

only 18+ creators will be able to suggest or create for nsfw tropes, prompts, etc.
whether or not creators will need an email depends on the type of event
minimum word count and requirements also depend on the type of event
it is strongly encouraged that you have an ao3 account and/or twitter account
we are more than happy to accomodate works that you are creating for other fests/bingos/events, as long as you incorporate poly OT8 somehow (background, implied, etc.)

how it worked
prompters sent in tropes that fit under the Plot-Based, Genre, Song Lyric, or NSFW/Kink categories
the curated list of tropes and the card request form were released
creators could earn points by tagging @polyot8 when tweeting their works, posting to the ao3 collection if it was a written work, and sending the mod their updated card via the google form, after which they were sent a confirmation email with their updated point standing
each square was worth 2 points, the first bingo was worth an additional 8 points, three bingos were worth 40 additional points, and a blackout card was worth 80 additional points (ex. 2 bingos = 2 x 10 (individual squares) + 8 (bonus points for first bingo)

how it worked
each period of two days focused on a member and had an optional suggested trope
people created a piece of fan work (fanfic, fanart, edit, poem, etc.) that is OT8 but centered around the member of the day (ex. a jeongin-centric OT8 drabble)
they tagged @polyot8 in their tweet(s) promoting their work or QRTed the graphic of the day and we boosted it!
you did not have to participate in every day of the challenge
the optional suggested tropes were listed in each member's individual graphic - just for inspiration and not required!
if you participated in Infinity Bingo, your work for Supernova Challenge could count for bingo points as long as you filled out the point collection form (or DMed us your updated bingo card during the challenge period)

how it worked
creators first signed up individually, then later indicated who they wanted to work with from the masterlist (teams had three to four creators)
teams decided on a theme, idea, prompt, and/or storyline for their piece and submitted the basic idea to the mod
works did not have to be fanfic or only fanfic
there were two check-ins with suggested but not required progress guidelines (ex. first check-in: 500 words)
it was up to creators how they split up the work, but the final piece was one cohesive work submitted as a team/unit
use of groups chats, ohwrite, frantic fanfic, sprint bots, and other collaborative tools was highly encouraged!

how it works
prompters sent in prompts under the single-word, sentence, au / trope, paragraph, or picture categories
after prompting closed, the mod curated prompts and numbered them in each category
participants filled out a request form to get a bank of prompts (two from each category they indicate on the form), which were chosen through a random number generator
ex. if a participant chose only sfw prompts and the categories of single-word and picture prompts, then they got two SFW single-word prompts and two SFW picture prompts
creators could fill out the request form up to three times a month either to start a new work or to add on to their current one
participants tagged @polyot8 when posting works on Twitter
creators were allowed to cross-post works to infinity bingo as well as long as the point collection form was filled out
